Price Changes !

The last time we upped our monthly membership fees was in 2022 – in those three years inflation has risen about 14% in the USA (at least that’s the figure I could find),  we’ve got to pay a hefty amount of age verification in 22 states, with 3 more following by the end of the year, as well as the UK and France.  Banking costs are up substantially, many of our customers are unaware but when they pay their membership, about 10% goes directly to the billing company, and if someone disputes the payment then we get fined between $25 – $50 from the billing companies for each dispute (which is why we pass on any disputes to our legal team and employ a debt collection service, to try to get some money back from bad players).    We’re paying more for almost everything from hosting, model and producer fees and we’re one of the few companies that pays for models to be tested (over $35,000 to date in 2025).

So when we raise the prices it’s not about the site owners being greedy, or trying to line their own pockets.  It’s about the survival of our sites and the company.   We’ve frozen pay rises this year and will have to take a look at the end of the year to see what bonuses we can pay out, which may be less than usual.  In case you’ve missed my talking about this before, we’re not a super profitable company, we invest a lot more of our income back into new product as we believe this creates a healthy ecosystem for trans porn, and as the only company shooting solo content (as well as the 40+ hardcore scenes we produce a month) and the only company that works with such a wide range of trans women and not just the big named starlets, we hold that responsibility.

We’ve taken the decision to raise most of the websites monthly prices by 12.5%.   We believe this will enable us to continue to produce at a similar rate we are now, and give us a safety net in case of other issues.   We appreciate many of you are suffering from your own financial issues, and these are compounded by the poor decisions of our elected officials, but we are also offering exceptional value for money in a niche which is underserved by the mainstream adult companies.  When people ask why we’re more expensive than a site like Brazzers, it’s because our production overheads are the same, but our target audience is a small fraction of what a website like Brazzers is, and thus our profit margins are tiny.  We don’t have owners driving Ferrari’s, or wearing $50,000 Rolexes, our staff are all compensated fairly, and our long term goal is to continue to keep as many as we can employed, and provide a great website experience.

If Grooby disappeared, there would be a void in the adult trans world that’s unlikely to be filled.  Sourcing our models, and getting them platformed isn’t something that can easily be picked up by others, and probably at a great cost.   You don’t see many trans websites launching because it’s just not profitable for them.   We run this company (and most of our staff have been with us for at least 15 years), because we believe in the long term stability of doing a good job for a fair wage (and good healthcare where necessary), we want to empower and platform … and show off, the many trans women we work with each year, with almost $1,500,000 getting paid to trans performers a year, it’s a lot of revenue back to the community, as well as the TEAs which we run at a cost to us.  We love this company, and we know many of you do also – and I hope you understand why we have to increase pricing.

There are a few silver linings :

• for now we’re able to keep most of the 3/6/12 month packages at the same price.  When you buy like this it costs you less a month, and enables us to budget better.
• our discount tickets  will remain at the current price until Oct 12th and then they will increase.  You can buy and stockpile these and use them anytime within the next 24 months from http://grooby.com/tickets/
• we’ve added some lifetime memberships to try on Brazilian-Transsexuals.com , Transgasm and Tgirlsex.xxx.  We’re looking forward to see how they are received.
• we are working on some packages for those who want to join multiple sites at the same time for a bundled price, but these are unlikely to be ready until the end of the year.

I hope this explains things better.   We are committed to being the best company we can be.  All our customer service is in-house and we work directly with our supporters.  We believe in ensuring new trans models have a place with us, and a platform to show off to the world.   We’re confident that with your help we’ll continue to be able to do what we’ve done for nearly 30 years for another 30 – produce the best trans porn websites and get new models in every week.
