A few months ago Blake Lovely reached out to me with a proposal – I got excited for a moment – and then realised it was a business proposal.  Still exciting, just not quite as much.

Blake was in the process of finalizing a script for her first directorial release.   She’d secured some of the hottest names in the industry, and raised the funds to produce what sounded like on paper, a really exciting product – and she was putting it all together herself.   The problem with an independent release, is that it’s difficult to then find distribution, marketing, and promotion.  And that’s where we could help.

I’ve known Blake since earlier this year when I spent 3 days in a booth with her at AVN.  She’s enthusiastic, she’s authentic and real, and she’s got a personality that just won’t take no for an answer.  It’s little wonder that during those three days she engaged with more fans, signed more photos and earned more tips than the rest of the models there put together.  So when she proposed this project, then it seemed pretty ideal for both of us.   I’ve not been involved in any part of this,  our PR and content management (Kristel and Alex respectively) have been working on it, and Blake has been working with our graphic artist Anne to get the look she desired.  I’ve been traveling most of this month, so only able to see snippets as it’s been coming along, but I did get to see the trailer, and wow it’s a scorcher of a DVD.

It’s a testament to Blake that she was able to get in Aubrey Kate, Foxxy and Jade Venus – all of whom have done limited work this year as they were focussed on their own products.  Haven Rose is a welcome and exciting more recent girl, and then the selection of non-trans talent is stellar with Draven Navarro, Safe Roux, Adam X, Silas Stone, Derek Kage, Tony Sting and Steve Rickz rounding out the cast.

With TEA Lifetime Award Winner and industry veteran Aiden Starr as the director of photography, this is a stunning feature in an era where we see very few trans features being released.  Aiden really brings her unique eye and talent to the production, allowing Blake the ability to direct the scene and get her vision to the screen.   This is 186 minutes of pure awesome adult entertainment and I expect it to be featured in the up coming award season with AVN, Xbiz and the TEAs.
