Shawna was perhaps our first mega-star.  We’d had other huge stars like Meghan Chevalier, Kimberly Devine, Olivia Love etc but they’d all appeared in the VHS output from LA.   Shawna was a debut internet star, originally found by Bob and she was massive, and a huge pull to the site.   I didn’t even recall until I started looking, but these photos were shot by myself on a trip to Los Angeles, when I was still producing.

We were starting to get a bit of a following, and around this time other tgirl sites started popping up. We had competition! We launched spin-off site Ladyboy-Ladyboy late 1998, and another first, I was the first producer to shoot trans models for the internet in Thailand. 23 years later, Ladyboy-Ladyboy (which is going through a rebrand to AsianTgirl.com) has had a lot of competition through the years, but is now the only main outlet for Thai trans content.

Unfortunately, the first models on the site, which included the Commander’s shoots of Nicole, and other girls from Texas have been lost over time, and there is a little jumble up of the first few years with the dates (the site has been on multiple platforms, and redesigns) but we’ll start with some of the first girls from the 1990’s when the site launched as Shemale Yum and grew through the years, rebranding as GroobyGirls.
